Property in Pierce is zoned either residential, business, industrial or planned in nature.Each district estiblishes, among other things, disctinct permissible uses, setback requirements, height limitations, and minimum lot sizes.
A Zoning Permit is required for most construction projects. Zoning Permits are valid for one year from date of issuance. A permit application can be accessed on line or picked up in the Zoning Office. Permits are usually reviewed within 24 hours. The Zoning Fee scheduled can also be found online.
