Pierce To Insall New Stop Signs
Jan. 2, 2010 - Pierce Township will be installing two additional stop signs at each of the following three-way intersections: 1) St. Andrews Dr. and Castlebay Dr.; 2) St. Andrews Dr. and Murfield Dr. and; 3) St. Andrews Dr. and Stillmeadow Dr. The additional signs will create three-ways stops at each intersection.
Last year, residents living in vicinity of the intersections petitioned the Pierce Township Board of Trustees for the additional stop signs. The Trustees then asked the Clermont County Engineers Office to conduct a study to determine if the stop signs were warranted. A study by the Engineers Office concluded that additional signs were warranted. The new signs will be installed in late February.
