The leadership of Pierce Township recognizes both the challenges and the opportunities that progress presents. In order to help guide land use and economic development in the Township, the Trustees created the “Land Use and Development Facilitation Program.”

The program strives to maximize results by forging constructive working relationships with all stakeholders in the development process. Through outreach, the program proactively engages owners, developers, residents and contractors in the pre-development planning process.

This approach musters the skill and knowledge of all involved to produce the best development possible .The contentiousness of many development processes is eliminated and the results benefit all involved.
