Basic First Aid For The Community And The Workplace

Properly applied first aid can save lives, reduce recovery time and quite possibly mean the difference between temporary disability or lifelong disability for the victim.
Basic First Aid program participants learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of injuries and sudden illness. Crucial information about how to deal with emergencies like bleeding, shock, burns, strains, fractures, allergic reaction, diabetic and seizures is shared.
Pierce Township Fire Department in conjunction with the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI)
is proud to offer Basic First Aid courses for the community for $15 per person. These classes
are normally scheduled for the first Saturday of each month starting at 9 a.m.
Each course must
have at least 5 participants pre-registered prior to holding the course.
If you are interested in this
course and would like to pre-register please contact Lt. Strunk at 752-6273 or send an email to Public Education on our contact page.
